Golconda Fort
A majestic monument and a great cultural heritage of 400 years; this is where the Kohinoor diamond was found. One of the most interesting thing about the fort is the system of acoustics- the sounds of hands clapped at the entry gate can be heard at Bala Hisar the highest point. You can enjoy the fort with the sound and the light show.
Araku Valley
It is a pleasant hill station famous for its expanse of coffee plantation. The climate and the beauty of the valley makes it a place worth visiting. On the way you can see the Borra caves known for their stalactites and stalagmites. The Galikonda mountain near the hill station is the highest mountain in Andhra Pradesh.
Ramoji Film City
The world's largest film city at Hyderabad- Ramoji transports you to the dream world of Bollywood. It is an all in one huge complex with exotic gardens, studio floors, state of the art technology, props, costumes, recreation facilities and what not! What makes it fascinating is the rumors of it being haunted- since it is built on the war grounds, it is said to be haunted. Some paranormal activities have been reported during film shoot.
Nagarjuna Sagar Dam
It is currently the tallest masonry dam in the world. It creates the 3rd largest man made lake in the world. Stream boat rides are available to the dam. Apart from the dam there is the island of Nagarjuna Konda.
