Jharkhand

Ranchi
The state capital of Jharkhand, Ranchi is known for its large mineral content. Called the ‘city of waterfalls' , it got it name from 'Archi', a Nagpur word meaning Bamboo forest. The charming destinations include Ranchi Hill, Jonha Falls, Kanke Dam, Tagore hill, Ranchi Lake, Hudru falls, Jagannath temple, Hatia Museum and Tribal Research Institute and Museum.

Dhanbad
The coal capital of India, Dhanbad is the second biggest Rail Division of Indian Railway. Dhanbad coalfields are widely known as Jharia coalfields. Tata Steel, BCCL, ECL and IISCO are some of the companies here. Famous attractions are Bhatinda Waterfalls, Birsa Munda Park, Chark Khurd, Kalyaneshwari Temple.

Jamshedpur
Acclaimed as first planned city in India, it was established by Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata. The city is also known as Tatanagar. The city is dotted with industries and their respective residential areas.  It is one of the lusting green cities in India inspite of so many industries. The tourist places here are Hudco lake, Jubilee park, Rivers meet, Dimna lake, Tata Steel Zoological park and many more.

Bokaro
Bokaro Steel City is an industrial city that abodes the largest steel complex in India. The city is mainly comprised of valleys and streams. Some of the best places of tourist importance in Bokaro are the Bokaro Steel City, City Park, Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park, Garga Dam and Bokaro Ispat Pustakalaya.
